Seymour B. Everett, a highly esteemed civil defense attorney, serves as the managing partner and co-founder of Everett Dorey LLP. With a distinguished career as a trial attorney, he holds membership in the American Board of Trial Advocates (“ABOTA”) and actively engages in various civic organizations. His practice is based in Southern California, where he represents clients throughout the state. Mr. Everett is licensed to practice law in California and is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Central, Southern, and Northern Districts of California, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit.

Over the course of his illustrious career, Mr. Everett has successfully handled a wide array of cases, many of which have resulted in published legal decisions. His expertise spans diverse areas, including catastrophic personal injuries, mass torts, toxic torts, business interference, asbestos exposure, defamation, employment law, environmental violations, and various other legal matters. Mr. Everett has represented individuals, corporations, governmental agencies, and school districts, effectively advocating their cases before juries and administrative bodies.

Mr. Everett pursued his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Los Angeles, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1993. Subsequently, he attended Seton Hall University School of Law in New Jersey, where he obtained his Juris Doctor degree in 2001. Prior to co-founding Everett Dorey LLP in August 2017, Mr. Everett served as a partner at two national law firms.
