Before establishing his private practice, Mr. Kalish served as special counsel to the New York State Senate Finance Committee, which offered him valuable insights into business regulations, regulatory agencies, and administrative hearings. While he is an adept litigator, Mr. Kalish also prioritizes negotiation as a means of resolving disputes whenever possible.

Furthermore, Mr. Kalish is a member of the Grievance Committee for the 2nd Judicial Department.
