Michael, a member of Bottar Law, PLLC, leverages nearly two decades of experience to handle a wide range of complex personal injury cases, including medical malpractice, wrongful death, construction accidents, and more, across New York and the northeastern United States. His primary focus centers on claims related to birth injuries, neonatal/pediatric negligence, heart attacks, strokes, brain damage, spine/nerve injuries, and liability cases under the Federal Tort Claims Act.

Michael is an alumnus of Colgate University and graduated summa cum laude from Syracuse University College of Law. He serves as an adjunct professor at the college, contributes to the “Civil Practice” chapter of the Syracuse Law Review’s Survey on New York law, and has dedicated over a decade to the law school’s Board of Advisors. He has been consistently recognized in The Best Lawyers In America® for plaintiff’s medical malpractice, product liability, and personal injury cases, earning multiple “Lawyer of the Year” accolades for medical malpractice law in Syracuse. In addition to his legal work, Michael holds the role of regional vice president at the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers and serves on its judicial screening committee. He has provided continuous legal education to numerous attorneys across New York State on nearly 50 occasions and has been invited to speak by the Association of Justices of the Supreme Court of the State of New York.
