He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia University in 1986 and earned his law degree from the New York Law School in 1991. Shortly thereafter, he became licensed to practice law in New York and has since been admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit.
