Roger Buffington serves as the managing partner at Buffington Law Firm, PC, offering representation to clients in Fountain Valley, California. Having achieved certification as a public accountant in California (currently in inactive status), Mr. Buffington earned his Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of California, Los Angeles. He then pursued advanced education at the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business, securing a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in accounting and finance. Subsequently, he obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law in 1997. Notably, during this time, he held the position of editor-in-chief for the Interdisciplinary Law Journal.
Mr. Buffington’s legal practice is authorized in the state of California, and his jurisdiction extends to the United States Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit, as well as the United States District Courts for the Southern, Northern, Eastern, and Central Districts of California. Notably, his professional journey commenced in finance, where he served as the chief financial officer of Stevco, Inc., and later as the corporate controller at Iron Mountain Incorporated before embarking on his legal career.
During his academic journey, Mr. Buffington received the Army Commendation Medal and was recognized as a Distinguished Military Graduate upon obtaining his undergraduate degree. Furthermore, he has a history of involvement with the Fountain Valley Chamber of Commerce.
