He received his B.A. in Political Science with high honors in 1978 from the University of California Berkeley, and his J.D. from the University of California Hastings College of the Law in 1981. In law school, he served as an extern to Justice Winslow Christian of the First District California Court of Appeal. Mark was admitted to the California Bar in 1981 and is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Northern and Eastern Districts of California.After graduating with high honors from the University of California Berkeley with a Bachelor of Arts in political science, Mr. Fong earned his Juris Doctor in 1981 from the University of California Hastings College of the Law. He is licensed to practice law in California and before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of California.Mr. Fong is a member of the Judiciary Committee of the Bar Assoociation of San Francisco, the American Association for Justice, the Consumer Attorneys of California, the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association, and the Asian American Bar Association of the Greater Bay Area.
