Candice Klein

A partner and trial attorney at the California-based firm Chang | Klein, in El Segundo, Candice Klein is a licensed legal practitioner with over two and a half decades of experience fighting for victims of personal and emotional injuries and championing their causes. With a focus on serving people residing in Los Angeles, she extends her assistance to people who have suffered from catastrophic injuries involving spinal cord damage, fractures, product liability and wrongful death.Aspiring to be an attorney from a very young age, Ms. Klein found her happiness in being the voice for individuals who are unable to stand up for themselves. She completed her undergraduate studies at University of California Irvine, receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in political science in 1994. The same year, she joined the Southwestern Law School and earned her doctorate in jurisprudence there in 1997.After obtaining her bar license, Ms. Klein started her career as a trial attorney at a prominent legal firm, where she exclusively concentrated her practice on representing injured people and tried numerous cases to verdict for nearly 17 years.Upon completion of the University of California, Los Angeles’ Gross Anatomy Program for Litigators, a course designed specifically to help attorneys better understand human anatomy, Ms. Klein’s knowledge of medical damages improved greatly, thereby providing her with the advantage to explain a case in a better and more convincing manner to the juries.Ms. Klein actively works for the betterment of the community as a whole and spends her time providing both legal and financial assistance to the indigent through the Los Angeles Trial Lawyers’ Charities, where she is a board member emeritus. She also serves as the co-chair of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles’ Women in Law Committee.
