Ernest J. Kim

Ernest J. Kim is the principal of the Law Offices of Ernest J. Kim.  He is certified by the State Bar of California as a specialist in estate planning, probate and trust law, a distinction held by less than 1% of lawyers in California.  With nearly 30 years of experience, Mr. Kim represents clients throughout California,  assisting them with estate planning, probate and trust administration, as well as litigation related to Wills, Trusts, and inheritances.   He holds an Avvo “Superb” rating, is rated amongst "Superlawyers," and is fluent in Korean.Mr. Kim co-authored a chapter on the classification and nature of trusts that many estate planning attorney use for reference, which was published by the legal group West Publisher in 1999. More recently, he has worked to reduce probate fees and estate taxes by informing the local community about various planning techniques.A regular addition to radio shows when topics regarding estate planning are discussed, Mr. Kim teaches seminars to financial professionals and individuals throughout the state of California.
