Mr. Peixoto’s practice focuses on counseling businesses and individuals in complex high-stakes disputes. He has significant plaintiff and defense-side experience representing businesses, from start-ups to multinational companies, and individuals across a spectrum of industries and matters, including securities and intellectual property litigation, government investigations, and unfair competition.Mr. Peixoto has successfully represented technology companies in misappropriation of trade secrets and other intellectual property and commercial matters. In addition, Mr. Peixoto has extensive experience representing shareholders and founders in matters involving breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, and embezzlement. He also has substantial experience litigating directors and investor disputes.Mr. Peixoto is well versed in issues regarding data privacy and is a Certified Information Privacy Professional - United States (CIPP/US), Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), and Certified Data Privacy Officer - Brazil (CDPO/BR) through the International Association of Privacy Professionals.Prior to joining Lubin Olson, Mr. Peixoto clerked for the Hon. Larry Alan Burns, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Southern District of California, and practiced at elite San Francisco-based boutiques representing businesses and individuals in high-stakes litigation.
