Jeb Burton

Attorney Jeb Burton is a shareholder and the managing principle of The Burton Law Firm, with offices in Sacramento, San Francisco, and Roseville, California. Mr. Burton practices tax law, trusts and estate law, business law and international law, serving clients throughout Northern California and the World.Mr. Burton completed his undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of the Pacific and received his law degree from the University of California Davis School of Law. He is certified by The State Bar of California in Tax Law, as well as Estate Planning, Trust and Probate law. He has been licensed to practice law since 2006 and has more than 13 years of experience.Over the course of his career, Mr. Burton has assisted clients in areas including business succession, advanced estate and tax planning (both domestic and international), exit planning, mergers and acquisitions, asset protection, and entity formation/governance. He is very active in his legal community and has served in various leadership and committee roles with the Sacramento County Bar Association.Mr. Burton belongs to additional legal organizations including The State Bar of California, the American Bar Association, the Sacramento Estate Planning Council (where he was previously President), IR Global and the Wealth Counsel.Mr. Burton also enjoys giving back to his local community through involvement in nonprofit organizations and governmental entities. He has previously served as Chair of the West Sacramento Chamber of Commerce and served for many years on the West Sacramento Community Foundation. He belongs to the Rancho Cordova Chamber of Commerce and the Roseville Area Chamber of Commerce. He previously served as chair and first district commissioner of the Yolo County Planning Commission. He currently serves on the Board of Trustee's for his children's school, Sacramento Country Day School.
