Kavon Adli founded The Internet Law Group (TILG) in October 2008. Based in Beverly Hills, California, with offices in Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area, he focuses his practice on complex civil litigation and transactions, with a particular focus on e-commerce and defamation, and he represents companies and individuals throughout the country.After studying at the University of California, Los Angeles, where he was in the school’s college honors program, Mr. Adli also attended Dartmouth College in New Hampshire, where he majored in philosophy and received a Bachelor of Arts cum laude in 1996. He then moved back to California for his legal education at the University of California Berkeley School of Law, and he served on both the California Law Review and the Berkeley Journal of Employment and Labor Law before obtaining his Juris Doctor in 1999.After his graduation from law school, Mr. Adli joined a Los Angeles-area law firm, where he spent nearly five years handling business litigation. He then moved to Austin, Texas, and he was in-house counsel for an internet consumer finance advertising and marketing firm. While he was there, Mr. Adli was involved in regulatory compliance matters as well as media/advertising, employment, and contract preparation.As Managing Attorney for TILG, Mr. Adli works on the same types of matters, as well as intellectual property protection, privacy and litigation/transactions/counseling involving domain names, copyrights, trade secrets, and trademarks. His litigation experience also encompasses general business disputes, and he has handled these types of matters both in the courtroom and in mediation, arbitration, and administrative proceedings. A recipient of a 10.0 peer review rating through Avvo, Mr. Adli is admitted to practice in California and Texas as well as before the U.S. District Courts for the Central, Northern and Southern Districts of California.
