Laura Frank Sedrish

As a Partner at Jacoby & Meyers, Laura Frank Sedrish focuses her practice exclusively on catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death litigation. Located in the firm’s flagship office in Los Angeles, she provides dedicated and aggressive representation to clients throughout the State of California.  Ms. Sedrish has been admitted to practice in California since 1995, and she is also admitted to practice in Nevada and before the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit.During her career, Ms. Sedrish has been able to obtain hundreds of millions of dollars in compensation for people who have incurred significant harm due to the negligence of other parties. The cases on which she has worked have arisen out of claims involving truck and other motor vehicle crashes, including rideshares, auto-pedestrian and bicycle injuries, defective products, workplace accidents, and premises liability. Ms. Sedrish has a multitude of seven and eight figure verdicts and settlements. Her highly successful track record has earned her several awards and honors from her fellow members of the Bar, including being regularly named as a "Top 50 Women" Super Lawyer and on the Daily Journal's annual list of "Top 100 Women Lawyers."Ms. Sedrish attended Duke University where she received a Bachelor of Science in 1989. She subsequently attended University of California, Los Angeles, School of Law, where she obtained her Juris Doctorate degree in 1994.  Ms. Sedrish has also recently obtained an LLM (Masters of Law) in alternative dispute resolution from the Pepperdine University Rick J. Caruso School of Law. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles and is its Political Chair, and serves on the Board of Governors of Consumer Attorneys of California, where she is also the immediate past Chair of the Woman's Caucus.
