Lisa Zonder

For over 24 years (since 1999), Lisa Zonder has been certified as a specialist in family law by the Board of Legal Specialization of The State Bar of California. She has been an attorney for over 30 years. As the founder of the Zonder Family Law Group, A Professional Corporation, she focuses her practice entirely on divorce, mediation, negotiation and Collaborative Divorce, representing clients throughout LA, Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties with her headquarter office in Calabasas.Ms. Zonder has extensive training and experience in both divorce mediation and Collaborative divorce law. She has been able to help her clients avoid protracted and often bitter courtroom disputes and instead reach an accord in most of her cases. This includes disputes regarding parenting time, spousal and child support, and the division of complex marital assets and debts through the use of those methods of alternative dispute resolution.Zonder served as former President to CP Cal, a statewide Collaborative Divorce professional group. She has hosted consumer workshops for Second Saturday and is an invited speaker for numerous wealth management and mental health professional events. Ms. Zonder has had articles published in the Daily Journal on the topic of mediation confidentiality. She trained to be aCDC Certified Divorce Coach®and a CDC Divorce Transition and Recovery Coach®. Thereafter, she became an International Coaching Federation (ICF) coach with an ACC credential. The combination of her legal experience and coach training provide the "missing piece" to offer the divorce client a more supportive and strategic divorce journey.Ms. Zonder has also assisted clients who have already seen their marriages legally dissolved but who now need to have previous support or parenting court orders enforced or modified. A graduate of Whittier Law School, Ms. Zonder is admitted to practice in California, New York and the District of Columbia and before the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
