Mahyar Ghassemian

Mahyar Ghassemian is the managing attorney and founder of Ghassemian Law Group. She represents clients in Orange, San Diego, Los Angeles, Riverside, and San Bernardino Counties in business and construction litigation. She also advises businesses in preventative measures for business and construction law.Ms. Ghassemian has a master’s degree in physics which has helped her in litigating technical construction matters. She earned her Juris Doctor from Western State University College of Law and has been practicing law in California since 1999. Since then she has represented some of the nation’s largest companies in litigation. She believes in cost-effective litigation strategies and boasts a very high settlement rate for her litigation cases.Within the Orange County Bar Association ("OCBA"), Ms. Ghassemian has served in many roles. These include the Chairperson and member of the Board of the Solo/Small Firm Section, as well as mentor for newer attorneys. She routinely speaks for the Orange County Bar Association on Business and Construction issues and for various construction associations including Associated General Contractors (“AGC”), Southern California Contractors Association (“SCCA”) and National Association of Minority Contractors(“NAMC”). She is also the former president of Peter M. Elliott American Inn of Court and legal counsel to the board of National Association of Women Business Owners in Orange County (“NAWBO-OC”). She serves as outside general counsel to numerous companies including contracting, architectural, engineering, construction and various manufacturing and technological companies.Ms. Ghassemian is a director on AGC's State Board of Directors for California, Chair of AGC's Associates Council, a member of the Legal Advisory Board of AGC and serves on the board of directors of the organization’s Orange County chapter. In 2014, she was named by the National Association of Women Business Owners in Orange County as a Remarkable Woman – a highly prestigious annual award given to only a few women.
