Nicole Lari-Joni

Nicole Lari-Joni, a founding partner of Lari-Joni & Bassell, LLP, is known for advocacy for her clients in Los Angeles, California, and throughout the counties of Los Angeles, Orange, Santa Barbara, Riverside, as well as other areas of the state. Ms. Lari-Joni's law practice focuses on representing plaintiffs in matters involving sexual assault, sexual harassment, personal injury, and wrongful death. Throughout the years, she has amassed a record of successful verdicts and settlements on behalf of her clients, including some of the largest verdicts in the state.Before attending law school, Ms. Lari-Joni completed her Bachelor of Science in biology at the University of California, Santa Barbara (USCB), and obtained her Master of Science degree in biology at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She then attended the University of London, where she received her Certificate of International Legal Studies. Upon returning to the United States, Ms. Lari-Joni attended Thomas Jefferson School of Law, graduating with her Juris Doctor in 2007.Ms. Lari-Joni has repeatedly been recognized by ALM's The Recorder for obtaining several of the top 100 million-dollar verdicts in California.  She is a past recipient of a commendation from the City of Lancaster for her excellent work protecting the rights of injured victims. One of her past verdicts was also recognized by the National Law Journal as one of the biggest jury verdicts in the nation. Additionally, has earned a perfect 10.0 "Superb" rating from her peers through Avvo, and has been selected to the elite Super Lawyers' lists every year since 2012, including recognition on the Up-and-Coming 50: 2015 Women Southern California Rising Stars.Before emigrating to the United States, Ms. Lari-Joni was raised in Switzerland where she became fluent in English, French, Farsi, German, and Swiss German. Her ability to speak all these different languages has led to her having a deep understanding of other cultures, as well as enabled her to communicate with a wide variety of clients in their native languages.Outside of her legal practice, Ms. Lari-Joni has served as a member of the board of governors for the Consumer Attorneys of California, as well as the board of governors for the Beverly Hills Bar Association. She also actively lectures on a variety of legal topics throughout the state, which provides continuing education credits to other attorneys within her fields of practice.
