Attorney Samuel J. Ferruccio, Jr., is the president and senior partner of The Ferruccio Law Firm in Canton, Ohio. Mr. Ferruccio has more than 35 years of experience and focuses his practice on criminal defense and personal injury law, serving clients throughout Ohio.Mr. Ferruccio handles personal injury matters involving animal bites, brain injuries, construction accidents, medical malpractice, motor vehicle accidents, nursing home abuse, premises liability, slip and fall, trucking accidents and wrongful death. In the criminal area, he has experience with misdemeanors and felonies such as alcohol violations, assault, battery, domestic violence, drug violations, DUI/DWI, expungements, murder, theft and traffic violations.Familiar with all aspects of the criminal process, including arraignment and arrest, Mr. Ferruccio has litigated at the state and federal white collar levels. He has been admitted to practice before all Ohio state courts since 1979 and before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio since 1980.Recognized for his accomplishments, Mr. Ferruccio received a commendation from the 125th Ohio General Assembly for exemplary achievement, has received a certificate of recognition on behalf of the Ohio House of Representatives as well as various other awards. He has been listed in Who’s Who in American Law since 1986 and in 1980 was named “best new lawyer” of the Stark County Bar Association.Active in his legal community, Mr. Ferruccio is a member of the Stark County Bar Association, Stark County Association for Justice, the Ohio State Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Bowling Green State University and received his law degree from Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law.
