After completing his studies, he returned to the firm and now serves its clients as an intellectual property (IP) attorney. He primarily handles cases involving patents and trademarks in Encino, California. When Mr. Hussain first attended college, his focus was the sciences. He completed a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental and horticultural sciences. Then, in 2015, he obtained his law degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law. During law school, he won the CALI Award for Academic Excellence in Legal Research and Writing as well as the Best Oral Argument award in moot court. He has been admitted to The State Bar of California since 2017 and is also licensed to practice in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. While completing his bachelor's degree, Mr. Hussain worked at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory as an engineer and scientist in the Advanced Light Source program.
