Stan Sarkisov

Stan Sarkisov serves as an associate attorney within the family law department at JKZ LLP in San Francisco, California. His role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, from family law litigation, mediation and coaching, to tackling intricate matters such as property distribution, child and spousal support, as well as custody and visitation rights.Originally hailing from Utah, a state deeply rooted in familial values, Mr. Sarkisov relocated to California in 2009, a move that steered him naturally towards a career in family law. His journey to the U.S. began when his family immigrated in 1992, bringing a rich cultural heritage. His approach to law is client-centered, focusing on achieving the most favorable outcomes by weighing the costs and benefits of each case and striving for efficient and promising resolutions.Mr. Sarkisov’s academic journey in law began at the University of San Francisco School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor in 2012. During his time there, he gained practical experience at the Unified Family Court and contributed to the community through his involvement with the AIDS Legal Referral Panel (ALRP). He also represented the Bay Area Lawyers for Individual Freedom (BALIF) as a student ambassador and continues to be an active member, dedicating time to volunteer activities. His educational background also includes a bachelor’s degree cum laude in history from Westminster College, obtained in 2007.Before joining JKZ LLP, Mr. Sarkisov enriched his legal acumen at a boutique family law firm in Oakland, California. Beyond his legal prowess, he is linguistically talented and fluent in Russian and Spanish, enabling him to connect with a broader client base. He is also an active participant in The State Bar of California.
