Tobin D. Ellis

As a founding member at Ellis Riccobono, LLP, attorney Tobin D. Ellis works hard to defend the rights of injured persons and survivors in Southern California. His personal injury and wrongful death cases include motor vehicle accidents, truck accidents and products liability. His focus on pursuing justice against negligent parties has earned him the trust of his clients and the respect of his colleagues.In 1996, Mr. Ellis completed his bachelor's degree at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He then obtained his law degree at Pepperdine University Caruso School of Law in Malibu. He became licensed to practice in California in 1999 and joined a prestigious law firm shortly afterward. At this firm, he gained insight while representing insurers and entities sued for negligence.In 2004, Mr. Ellis made a career change and decided to represent injured parties instead. The experience and knowledge he gained from serving corporations proved to be an invaluable asset. Since the time he decided to represent consumers instead of corporations he has been able to help his clients obtain the justice and compensation they deserve through his dedication to their cause. In 2017, he received the Presidential Award for his outstanding contribution to the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles.Outside of the office, Mr. Ellis remains active within the legal community through memberships in attorney organizations and by serving as a speaker at educational seminars. He has also provided pro bono and community services to the Los Angeles Superior Court as a settlement officer and a law day advisor.
