Wayne J. Rice

There, he served as executive editor for the Law & Inequality: A Journal of Theory and Practice.Upon completing his studies at the University of Minnesota Law School in 1992, Mr. Rice clerked for the Minnesota Supreme Court, worked in business litigation at a large law firm, served as in-house counsel for a Fortune 100 company and eventually practiced plaintiff-side employment law independently.Returning to California in 2003, Mr. Rice tackled various litigation challenges, including leading a class action for over 1,000 employees and resolving a real estate dispute involving land valued at more than $50 million. Since 2018, he has also contributed as a Mandatory Settlement Conference Judge. He frequently shares his insights on family law with the San Diego Family Law Bar Association, the San Diego County Bar Association and other legal groups, including Marine Corps attorneys at Camp Pendleton.In 2021, Mr. Rice established Rice Family Law to support fellow family law attorneys.
