Subsequently, in 1994, he earned his law degree from the Fordham University School of Law and made significant contributions to the Fordham Urban Law Journal.
Mr. Glassman initiated his legal career as a trial attorney with Zurich Insurance Group, eventually rising to the position of senior trial attorney. He successfully presented cases before the First and Second Departments of the Appellate Division, obtaining verdicts. During this period, he also served as an adjunct professor at the Zicklin School of Business at the City University of New York, teaching commercial contract law and corporate governance. After reentering private practice to establish his own multidisciplinary law firm, Mr. Glassman returned to his teaching roots. He assumed roles as a course adviser at William E. Macaulay Honors College and an adjunct professor at Hunter College. At Touro University, he conducted courses related to real estate and commercial law. Following his tenure as a New York state administrative law judge, he acquired the Law Office of Alan C. Glassman and merged its operations into The Glassman Law Group.
Mr. Glassman frequently represents his clients in various New York state courts and before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He is an active member of the New York State Bar Association and actively expands his professional network through involvement in various professional organizations. In addition to his legal work, he is deeply engaged in charitable causes and community service organizations, contributing his time to benefit the Lynbrook community and the Temple Am Echad of Lynbrook.
