Amelia K. Brankov, the founder of Brankov PLLC, is an attorney with a primary focus on litigation, art law, and intellectual property (IP) law. Ms. Brankov earned her bachelor’s degree with the highest honors from The University of Texas at Austin and completed her legal studies at The University of Texas at Austin – School of Law with honors in 2002. She also holds a master’s in law with first-class honors from the University of Cambridge – Clare Hall.

Recognized as a top U.S. art and cultural property attorney by Chambers and Partners, Ms. Brankov has been featured in prominent publications such as The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. She is a frequent lecturer and author on topics related to art and IP law.

In her professional affiliations, Ms. Brankov serves as the Chair of the Art Law Committee of the New York City Bar Association and chairs the Art, Auctions & Antiques editorial advisory board for Trusts & Estates magazine. She is a former co-chair of the Art Law Committee of the New York County Lawyers Association and also holds the role of adjunct professor, teaching an art law course at New York University’s Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development.
