Before establishing Cochran Family Law Practice PC, Ms. Cochran held an equity partnership role at Sideman & Bancroft LLP in San Francisco, where she co-chaired the Family Law department. Preceding her legal studies, she pursued a career in business management consulting, specializing in designing comprehensive compensation plans and fostering organizational growth for Fortune 500 companies.

Having been raised in various locations including Okinawa, Washington, D.C., Kobe, Tokyo, Japan, and Bangkok, Thailand, Ms. Cochran is an alumna of Phillips Exeter Academy. Her educational journey continued with a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Juris Doctor from the University of San Francisco School of Law. She currently resides in Orinda with her spouse and two children, sharing joint custody of their children and two dogs with her former spouse. The entire family has successfully navigated the challenges of divorce, maintaining shared celebrations like holidays, frequent dinners, and the children’s birthdays. When she isn’t engrossed in her legal work, Ms. Cochran finds joy in attending soccer, basketball, and football games, as well as swim meets. Her personal pursuits encompass running, weightlifting, meditation exploration, active participation in a long-standing book club, and hosting vibrant dinner gatherings.
