Prior to her legal pursuits, she ventured into the nonprofit sector, where she founded and served as CEO of an organization.

Ms. Zahn’s educational journey led her to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University, followed by a Juris Doctor degree from Brooklyn Law School in 1995. She was admitted to practice law in the state of New York the following year and is also authorized to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States and the United States Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit.

Her legal career commenced at the United States Tax Court, where she served as a clerk for the Honorable Carolyn Miller Parr from 1996 to 1998. Subsequently, she gained valuable experience at prestigious law firms in both Canada and the U.S., specializing in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, and tax dispute resolution. Her responsibilities included representing clients in dealings with the IRS and New York tax authorities.

Ms. Zahn’s dedication to pro bono legal work has been recognized through various accolades, including the New Yorker of the Week Award from NY1 news and the Empire State Counsel Honoree Pro Bono Provider Award from the New York State Bar Association. She has also been honored with the Brava Award from SmartCEO magazine for her entrepreneurial spirit.

In addition to her legal practice, Ms. Zahn currently holds the role of special international tax adviser at Falcon Rappaport & Berkman LLP, serves as a principal at Andesi International Tax Advisors, and acts as the general outside counsel for Hughes Energy Group, LLC. She is a proud member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
