Over the course of his 30-year legal career, Ben B. Rubinowitz has established himself as a preeminent trial attorney, known for his unwavering commitment, diligence, and courtroom prowess. He embarked on his career as a prosecutor, where he cultivated the trial expertise that would become his trademark. Mr. Rubinowitz’s methodical approach to case preparation and trial execution has yielded an impressive track record, including 28 verdicts and over 200 settlements exceeding $1 million in various cases, such as automobile accidents, wrongful deaths, premises accidents, construction mishaps, medical malpractice, and product liability claims. In addition to his prowess as a trial lawyer, Mr. Rubinowitz has effectively argued appellate cases before both the Appellate Division and New York State’s highest court, the Court of Appeals.

For the fourth time, Mr. Rubinowitz has been honored as the “Best Lawyers Lawyer of the Year.” In 2017, he earned the title of Personal Injury Lawyer of the Year, while in 2016, he was recognized as the “Best Lawyers Lawyer of the Year” for Products Liability. In 2013, he received the distinction of “Best Lawyers Lawyer of the Year” for Personal Injury in cases involving negligence. Most recently, he was named Best Lawyers “Lawyer of the Year” for 2018.

Beyond his courtroom triumphs, Mr. Rubinowitz’s expertise and legal insights have made him a sought-after authority in the legal community. He has appeared as a legal expert on Court TV and co-authors a regular column in the NY Law Journal on trial advocacy. To date, he has delivered lectures in more than 400 Continuing Legal Education Programs and was recently invited to speak to judges and mediators at the Judicial Institute. Recognizing his accomplishments as a trial lawyer, Mr. Rubinowitz was invited to lecture at the NYS Judicial Conference on Medical Malpractice. He has also shared his knowledge at the Queen’s Counsel Solicitors and Advocates in Edinburgh, Scotland. As an adjunct professor of Law at Cardozo Law School, he imparts wisdom in advanced trial techniques.

Mr. Rubinowitz holds memberships in esteemed legal organizations, including the International Society of Barristers, The International Academy of Trial Lawyers, American Association for Justice, and the New York State Trial Lawyers Association. He is also an esteemed member of The Inner Circle of Advocates, the most prestigious invitation-only organization limited to the top 100 trial lawyers in the United States. To attain membership, each attorney must have secured multiple million-dollar verdicts and maintain the highest standing in their respective states. Most notably, Best Lawyers, the oldest peer-reviewed publication in the legal field, has consecutively recognized Ben B.
