Chantal Khalil, based in White Plains, New York, is an associate attorney affiliated with the law firm of Finkelstein, Blankinship, Frei-Pearson & Garber, LLP. Her legal practice extends nationwide and primarily centers on class action cases spanning a diverse array of legal matters.

Despite being relatively new to the legal profession, Ms. Khalil has already established herself as an up-and-coming leader in her field. Her track record includes the successful handling of numerous class action cases in both state and federal courts, encompassing civil rights, data privacy, consumer protection, and labor law. In her pro bono efforts, following the family separation policy during the Trump Administration, Ms. Khalil journeyed to the US-Mexico border. There, she worked on reuniting families and providing legal aid to refugees detained in border facilities.

Ms. Khalil graduated magna cum laude from New York University and pursued her legal education at The George Washington University Law School. During her time there, she played a substantial role in the George Washington International Law Review. As a Thurgood Marshall scholar, she received the President Obama’s Volunteer Service Award for her exceptional contributions to her community. She earned her Juris Doctor in 2015 and obtained her license to practice law in New York State the same year. Additionally, she is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, Western District of New York, and Northern District of New York.

While pursuing her legal degree, Ms. Khalil completed internships with the Brennan Center for Justice and the American Civil Liberties Union, gaining invaluable experience in advocating for the rights and liberties of individuals in need. Before joining Finkelstein, Blankinship, Frei-Pearson & Garber, LLP, she served as a legal consultant for the Women, Business and The Law project at the World Bank Group.
