Daniel R. Tota, the managing member of Durante, Bock & Tota, PLLC, practices law across a diverse spectrum of areas. His professional base is located in Yorktown Heights, New York, and he serves individuals and businesses throughout Westchester and Putnam counties.

Mr. Tota holds a Bachelor of Arts magna cum laude in sociology and criminal justice from the University of Hartford, where he graduated at the top of his class in both fields in 1999. Subsequently, he pursued his Juris Doctor degree from Brooklyn Law School, which he obtained in 2003. During his career, he gained valuable experience working at both the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York and the Bronx District Attorney’s Office.

One significant aspect of Mr. Tota’s legal practice involves handling various real estate matters. He has successfully managed the closings of both commercial and residential properties and has expertise in resolving landlord-tenant disputes. Additionally, he is proficient in drafting commercial lease agreements and financing arrangements. Mr. Tota also offers services in the realm of business law, including entity formation, the creation and review of shareholder and partnership agreements, and involvement in mergers and acquisitions, along with handling associated litigation when necessary.
