Domenic Romano holds the position of Managing Partner at Romano Law PLLC, a law firm specializing in Business Law, Employment Law, Entertainment Law, Intellectual Property, and Dispute Resolution (including Litigation, Arbitration, and Mediation). Recognized as a prominent figure in his field, Mr. Romano has frequently appeared as a legal commentator on prominent television networks such as NBC, CBS, CNN, CNBC, Fox Business News, and Bloomberg TV, providing insightful commentary on various legal matters spanning business, sports, and entertainment. Additionally, he has taken the lead in conducting Continuing Legal Education seminars for fellow attorneys.

With proficiency in three languages (English, Italian, and French), Mr. Romano’s academic background includes a B.A. and M.A. in History and Political Science from McGill University in Montreal (1988), a Juris Doctor from Oxford University in England (1991), an LL.M. in international business from Columbia Law School (1992), and an LL.B. from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University in Canada.

In 1993, he was admitted to practice law in New York State, and in 1996, he became a member of the Law Society of Ontario. Mr. Romano is an active member of various professional associations, including the New York City Bar Association, the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (TV Academy), the Brooklyn Bar Association, and the Business Law and Entertainment, Arts, and Sports Law Sections of the New York State Bar Association. He also hosts several specialized groups in New York City, such as the Business Lawyers Group, Entertainment Lawyers Group, and Managing Partners Group.

Notably, Mr. Romano has held leadership roles within the New York City chapter of Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO), the world’s largest peer-to-peer network of entrepreneurs, including President, Membership Chair, Accelerator Chair, and Forum Chair. He continues to be an active and engaged member of this organization, as well as in his legal practice and professional affiliations.
