Subsequently, she graduated magna cum laude with a Juris Doctor degree from the University at Buffalo School of Law in 1990. During her law school tenure, she was honored with the Robert J. Connelly award for excelling in a trial practice course. Following her law school journey, she served as a clerk for a renowned judge at the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York.
She holds memberships in several prestigious organizations, including the International Trademark Association, the New York State Bar Association, The Florida Bar, the Bar Association of Erie County, and the Palm Beach County Bar Association. Additionally, Ms. Simpson serves on the board of directors of the New York State Civil and Criminal Lawyers Association. She actively participates in the Bar Association of Erie County’s Judiciary Committee and the New York State Supreme Court’s Appellate Division’s Attorney Grievance committee.
Ms. Simpson is licensed to practice law in all New York and Florida state courts, as well as before the U.S. District Courts for the Western, Southern, and Middle Districts of New York, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
