Eric C. Kastner, the managing partner at Kastner Kim LLP, specializes in handling employment law, labor law, business litigation, and executive compensation matters. Graduating with honors in 1969 from the University of California, Mr. Kastner obtained a Bachelor of Science degree before pursuing his Juris Doctor from the same university in 1972. He also completed his education at the Naval Justice School in 1973. Mr. Kastner holds admission to practice in California state courts, the United States Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit, the United States Supreme Court, and the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Central, Southern, and Northern Districts of California.
With a wealth of experience spanning over 35 years, Mr. Kastner has established himself as a successful litigator with a focus on cases involving employment discrimination, wrongful termination, ERISA violations, sexual harassment, Cal-OSHA citations, wage and hour claims, and independent contractor status. During his tenure with the Naval Legal Service Office, Mr. Kastner assumed the role of senior defense counsel for the Fifth Naval District for three years. Presently, he maintains membership in The Bar Association of Santa Clara County Bar Association.
