Throughout her time in law school, Ms. Maestre was deeply involved, taking on roles as a board member and coach for the Appellate Moot Court Team. She also participated in competitions as part of the university’s national team. Notably, she secured Third Place in the Petitioner Brief National Moot Court and reached the quarter-finals of the National Entertainment Law Moot Court at the Pepperdine Caruso School of Law. Commencing her legal profession, she began as a law clerk at the Juvenile Division of the San Diego Public Defender’s Office.
