In 1989, Ms. Harrison earned her Bachelor of Science in international business from Elmhurst College, and she subsequently obtained a Juris Doctor degree from Santa Clara Law in 1992.

She frequently serves as a speaker and author on employment law topics and is affiliated with various professional associations, including the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA), the Consumer Attorneys of California, the Labor and Employment Law Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the National Employment Lawyers Association, and The National Trial Lawyers. She also holds the position of President-Elect of CAALA, the largest local trial bar organization in the country, and is slated to become its President in 2021.
