Hirad, a founding member of Dadgostar Law LLP, stands as a staunch advocate for the rights of individuals who have suffered injuries or harm due to the negligence or wrongful actions of others. He takes up the mantle of representing Californians in legal issues involving wrongful deaths, severe injuries, traumatic brain injuries, accidents, as well as cases related to wage-and-hour violations, employment discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
With a track record of success, Hirad has effectively litigated both class actions and individual cases in the state and federal courts of California. His collaborative efforts with a team of colleagues resulted in a noteworthy achievement – securing a global settlement of $12.75 million in a series of connected wage-and-hour class action cases. This accomplishment was acknowledged as one of the Top 50 Settlements in California for the year 2016.
Furthermore, Hirad is an esteemed member and former President of the Iranian American Lawyers Association. He holds admission to practice before all federal district and state courts in California, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit.
Hirad’s legal journey includes earning his J.D. from the UCLA School of Law, where he also held the role of Managing Editor for the UCLA Journal of International Law & Foreign Affairs. His loyalty to UCLA is evident, having earned his B.A. with Honors from the same institution.
Prior to his legal practice, Hirad served as a federal judicial extern and law clerk for two terms under the late Hon. Robert C. Broomfield, Senior United States District Judge for the District of Arizona. This experience provided him with valuable insights into the court system and litigation procedures.
After completing his federal judicial clerkship, Hirad joined a prominent international law firm’s Los Angeles office as an associate attorney specializing in litigation. He represented a diverse range of clients, including Fortune 500 companies, across various cases in both state and federal courts.
Beyond his legal endeavors, Hirad is an active member of the Pacific Palisades Chamber of Commerce and serves on the Board of Directors for the Persian American Cancer Institute. Additionally, he dedicates his time to philanthropic work through the Farhang Foundation, where he holds the position of Chair for the Persian Philosophy & Literature Council.
