Jaime N. Cage, a founding partner at Cage & Miles, has dedicated her legal career to the realm of family law, serving communities in San Diego, Los Angeles, and Riverside counties. Her unwavering commitment to this field has led her to focus exclusively on divorce, domestic violence, child custody, and child support matters. She holds the prestigious title of a certified family law specialist, granted by The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization.
Ms. Cage earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a minor in philosophy. During her time at the university, she also served as a tutor, assisting fellow students in honing their persuasive and analytical writing skills. Later, she graduated as the top student in her class at California Western School of Law and achieved placement on the Dean’s Honor List in 2012. Additionally, she held the role of vice president within the Child, Family, and Elder Law Society during her time at law school.
An accomplished author in the field of family law, Ms. Cage consistently lends her expertise to organizations such as the North County Certified Family Law Specialists and the San Diego Family Law Bar Association. Her dedication to helping domestic violence victims is evident through her volunteer work at the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program and the San Diego Family Justice Center, where she is also a member of the Pro Bono National Honor Society.
Licensed to practice law in California since 2012, Ms. Cage’s outstanding accomplishments have been recognized with numerous accolades, including the prestigious Bonnie Nelson Reading Memorial Scholarship from the San Diego Family Law Bar Association and the Wiley W. Manuel Certificate for Pro Bono Legal Services from the State Bar of California. Furthermore, she has been verified as a Lead Counsel by Thomson Reuters.
Before gaining admission to the bar, Ms. Cage worked as a family law attorney at a well-respected firm and gained valuable experience in civil litigation while serving as a certified law clerk at a litigation and transactional law firm.
