Jill Levi, a member of Todd & Levi, L.L.P. situated in New York, New York, specializes her legal practice in the realms of commercial litigation and transactions, extending her legal counsel to businesses across the region. Her expertise covers a diverse range of issues, encompassing general business disputes, creditor’s rights, aircraft leasing and financing, as well as construction litigation. Additionally, Ms. Levi serves as the leader of the firm’s matrimonial practice group. Within her construction dispute practice, she offers valuable guidance to her clients on pragmatic strategies for safeguarding their interests, such as initiating liens and pursuing surety bond claims.

Ms. Levi earned her Bachelor of Arts degree with summa cum laude honors and phi beta kappa distinction from Queens College in 1979, followed by her Juris Doctor degree with honors from Hofstra University School of Law in 1982. During her time in law school, she served as an associate editor for the Hofstra Law Review. Following her graduation, she embarked on her legal career in the litigation department of Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison, subsequently becoming a litigation partner at another prominent New York City law firm. She co-founded Todd & Levi, L.L.P. two decades ago.

Since her admission to the New York bar in 1983, Ms. Levi has also been admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the 2nd, 3rd, and 5th Circuits, as well as the United States Tax Court.

Outside her legal career, Ms. Levi has been actively involved in supporting various charitable organizations, including Susan G. Komen and the Legal Aid Society. She is also an engaged member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York and the New York State Bar Association.
