Mr. Cherundolo is a prominent figure in the legal community, serving as a founding member and former president of the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers, as well as the former president of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, where he also served as the dean of the New York Trial Lawyers Institute. He has held positions as the state delegate of the American Trial Lawyers Association and state coordinator of the Trial Lawyers for Public Justice, in addition to chairing the Alliance of Consumer Rights’ Steering Committee.

Furthermore, Mr. Cherundolo was appointed by Governor George Pataki to serve as a justice for the New York State Court of Claims and has acted as an acting Supreme Court Justice in Onondaga County. He imparts his knowledge by teaching advanced torts and civil actions classes at Syracuse University College of Law.

Mr. Cherundolo graduated from Syracuse University in 1970, earning his master’s degree from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs in 1972. He received his Juris Doctor with honors from Syracuse University College of Law in 1973 and his Master of Laws in trial advocacy from Temple University in 2011. He is admitted to practice in all New York state courts as well as the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York.
