With a legal career spanning nearly three decades, Jonny Kool has built a strong reputation for adeptly handling challenging cases. As a partner at Queller, Fisher, Washor, Fuchs & Kool, LLP, situated in New York, New York, he provides assistance to clients across the state who have suffered harm due to negligence or recklessness by another party. Mr. Kool’s educational journey began with a Bachelor of Arts in English from Ithaca College in 1979. Following that, he spent several years working as a commercial fisherman and in the construction industry. Subsequently, he pursued legal studies at what is now known as New England Law | Boston, earning his Juris Doctor degree in 1988. Hailing from New York, Mr. Kool holds licenses to practice law in the state courts of New York and Massachusetts, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Eastern, and Western Districts of New York.

Renowned within his professional community, Mr. Kool has garnered an AV Preeminent* peer-review rating via Martindale-Hubbell and an “Excellent” peer-review rating through Avvo. He is frequently invited to deliver presentations to groups of attorneys, covering topics such as civil rights violations related to police liability, trial advocacy, fundamental aspects of brain trauma, and trial practice guidance for young attorneys. A former board member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, Mr. Kool continues to actively participate in that organization, along with the New York County Lawyers’ Association and the New York State Bar Association.
