Mr. Messeri graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 1998 with a B.A. in international relations. He then pursued his legal education at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he received the dean’s merit scholarship. In 2001, he earned his law degree and obtained his license to practice law in Connecticut that same year, followed by licensure in New York and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit the following year.
