Kael M. Briski, a seasoned legal professional, has been a statewide mediator specializing in resolving employment disputes since 2009. Having practiced law in the Bay Area since 1991, he is renowned for his candid and knowledgeable approach, particularly in the realm of employment law. With over three decades of experience, his focus on employment law since 2002 equips him with the acumen to adeptly settle complex disputes through mediation, offering an efficient and cost-effective resolution process. His mediation fee for a full day is $5,000.00, inclusive of all services without additional administrative or research charges.

Briski embarked on his legal journey in 1991 at Briski & Briski law firm alongside his father Michael Briski. His initial ten-year practice spanned general civil litigation, encompassing diverse cases ranging from business disputes to medical and legal malpractice, among others.

His interest shifted towards employment law in 1993, particularly ignited by his involvement in a sexual harassment case. His trajectory from that point saw him dedicate his legal expertise predominantly to employment law matters, mainly representing employees and plaintiffs in various stages of litigation.

From 2002 to 2021, as a part of the Briski Law Firm, he handled an array of employment cases, covering issues such as wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, breach of contract, and more. In 2009, Briski took on the role of a private mediator, focusing on resolving employment-related conflicts, ranging from wrongful termination and discrimination to wage disputes and retaliation claims.

Presently, Kael Briski exclusively concentrates on employment mediations, utilizing his comprehensive understanding of employment law and its practical implications. He interacts comfortably with various parties, including attorneys, HR representatives, CEOs, and others involved in the mediation process. He is widely respected by both plaintiff and defense attorneys across California as a neutral mediator for employment cases. Despite the shift to virtual platforms due to the pandemic, Briski successfully mediated over 100 cases via Zoom in 2020, settling more than 90% of them. He continues to offer mediation services both through Zoom and in-person, catering to the preferences of the parties involved.

Beyond his legal endeavors, Briski remains actively engaged in his community. He was an influential member of legal associations and has a track record of coaching softball and baseball teams. His educational background includes a BA in Political Science from California State University, Chico, and a Juris Doctorate degree from Santa Clara University.

When Briski takes on a mediation case, he commits to a comprehensive process, ensuring that all necessary steps are taken for a resolution, from preparation and pre-mediation communication to the mediation itself and any required follow-up actions.
