Kay Anderle boasts a distinguished career as a trial lawyer, having achieved success in over 100 jury trials. As the managing partner of Keller/Anderle LLP located in Irvine, California, she provides legal representation to clients across various areas including Los Angeles, Long Beach, Orange County, Sacramento, San Diego, and Irvine. With adeptness in handling both plaintiff and defendant roles, Ms. Anderle specializes in a wide array of high-stakes commercial litigation and white collar cases.
Embarking on her legal journey more than thirty years ago, Ms. Anderle spent 12 years at the Orange County District Attorney’s Office prosecuting criminal cases. In 2004, she transitioned to private practice, focusing notably on white collar criminal cases. Her exceptional negotiation and trial skills quickly earned her a reputation as one of the most effective defense attorneys in Southern California.
In 2005, Ms. Anderle partnered with Jennifer Keller to establish Keller/Anderle LLP, expanding their practice to encompass business litigation and trials. Noteworthy milestones in Ms. Anderle’s career include her pivotal role in a groundbreaking business fraud trial that resulted in a $350 million jury verdict in 2009, the largest in California that year. She also played a crucial part in the retrial of the iconic legal battle Mattel v. MGA, securing an $85 million award for MGA Entertainment, in addition to significant punitive damages and attorneys’ fees.
Ms. Anderle’s legal expertise is evident in her handling of diverse cases ranging from shareholder oppression to defending against a $1 billion oral partnership breach claim and addressing allegations against a Saudi princess (which were ultimately dismissed).

Ms. Anderle’s educational background includes a Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School and a B.A. in political science from Wake Forest University. She is admitted to practice before the California Supreme Court and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. Active within the legal community, Ms. Anderle is closely associated with organizations such as The National Trial Lawyers and The Robert A. Banyard American Inn of Court. She holds the designation of Senior Fellow in the exclusive Litigation Counsel of America.
