Dr. Kristof pursued his education with a major in history and a minor in Spanish, graduating with the highest honors from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. He was inducted into the Phi Alpha Theta honor society and the Golden Key International Honor Society. He obtained his master’s degree in history in 2002 and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2004. He also holds an LLM in elder law and estate planning. Recently, he successfully defended his Ph.D. dissertation, titled “The Economic Impact of Probate Administration,” earning him a Doctor of Juridical Science degree.

In addition to his legal practice, Dr. Kristof places significant emphasis on community service. He serves as a court-appointed counsel for the Los Angeles Superior Court, has worked as a settlement officer for the Los Angeles Superior Court’s Pro Bono Probate Settlement Program, and volunteered at the Pro Per Guardianship Clinic. He also serves as an arbitrator for the Attorney-Client Mediation and Arbitration Service, where he mediates disputes between attorneys and their clients.

Dr. Kristof is an active member of professional organizations, including the American Bar Association, The State Bar of California, and the Los Angeles County Bar Association. He represented the Young Lawyers Division of the American Bar Association on the Commission on Law and Aging and currently serves on the board of the Los Angeles Alumni Chapter of the University of San Diego School of Law.
