Kevin S. Mahoney has been a licensed personal injury attorney in Denver, Colorado since 1995. Graduating with honors from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, Mr. Mahoney achieved his B.A. in political science and history in 1991. He earned his J.D. with honors from Duke University School of Law in 1993. During his time in law school, he was awarded the Note of the Year by the Alaska Law Review and participated in the 1993 Moot Court Competition. Additionally, he served as a summer clerk for the Hon. Judge Leonard Plank at the Colorado Court of Appeals.

As a distinguished member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, Mr. Mahoney has a notable track record of successfully securing compensation for his clients. Noteworthy achievements include a $3.4 million settlement for a birth injury, a $4.5 million verdict for a victim of cerebral palsy, and a $3 million settlement for an insurance bad faith case.

Admitted to the practice of law in Colorado in 1995, Mr. Mahoney also holds authorization to appear in Wyoming’s state courts and the United States District Court for the District of Colorado, the United States District Court for the District of Wyoming, and the United States Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit.

Beyond his legal advocacy, Mr. Mahoney actively engages in his community through memberships in various professional associations. These include the Wyoming Trial Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, the American Association for Justice – Professional Negligence Section, the Colorado Bar Association, the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association – Medical Malpractice Committee, and the Wyoming State Bar.
