Lara Herrmann, a third-generation litigator, serves as the co-owner and CEO of Herrmann Law Group, which has offices located in Seattle and Tacoma, Washington. Renowned for her integrity and empathy, Ms. Herrmann has successfully procured substantial financial settlements for individuals harmed or killed in some of the world’s most devastating mass-casualty tragedies, including the midair explosion of China Airlines Flight 611, the crash of Air China Flight 129 in Korea, and the crash landing of Asiana Airlines Flight 214 in San Francisco. Guided by her strong family values, Ms. Herrmann has devoted her 20-plus-year career to representing victims of train derailments and those affected by vaping-related injuries. After graduating from Washington State University in 1995, she pursued her Juris Doctor degree at Seattle University School of Law, which she attained in 2000. She is a licensed attorney actively practicing in the state of Washington.

A distinguished member of the Washington State Association for Justice, Ms. Herrmann has shared her trial expertise through teaching trial skills at the Trial Advocacy Program for the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center. She maintains significant involvement in numerous organizations, including the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Washington State Bar Association, the King County Bar Association, the Tacoma-Pierce County Bar Association, and the Washington Women Lawyers.

Ms. Herrmann’s legal acumen has earned her recognition as one of the Top 100 trial attorneys in the United States and among the Top 10 aviation trial lawyers by The National Trial Lawyers. Lawdragon magazine has included her in their list of top 500 consumer lawyers. She established the Seattle University School of Law Woman of the Year Award, designed to commend exceptional women in the legal field. Her profound knowledge of aviation law has led her to be a featured speaker at the International Symposium on Aviation Accident Law.
