Lara Yeretsian’s academic journey includes earning a Bachelor of Arts in political science from California State University, Northridge, in 1994, followed by a Juris Doctor degree from Southwestern Law School in 1997. She further distinguished herself academically by obtaining a Master of Laws in international and comparative law with distinction from Georgetown Law in 1998.

Outside her legal practice, Ms. Yeretsian is actively engaged in philanthropic endeavors, collaborating with the Armenian Bone Marrow Donor Registry and contributing her expertise to the Police Permit Review Panel of the Los Angeles Police Department.
