Laura Tucker Hedge is a seasoned litigator who currently holds the position of Member at the Ithaca, New York office of Bousquet Holstein PLLC. Her legal practice specializes in intricate matrimonial and family law litigation cases involving high-net-worth individuals.

Having been licensed in New York since 2015, Ms. Hedge is a familiar face in both the New York State Supreme Court and Family Court, where she passionately represents her clients across a broad spectrum of legal matters. Her expertise encompasses divorce, equitable distribution, post-judgment modifications, paternity disputes, custody battles, parental access issues, child support matters, and enforcement proceedings. In addition, she adeptly handles complex cases in Family Court and Surrogate’s Court, such as abuse and neglect proceedings and contested adoptions.

Ms. Hedge is recognized as a skilled and reliable advisor who strives to find innovative solutions for resolving intricate legal disputes, always with the best interests of her clients in mind. She has efficiently negotiated and drafted various financial and custodial settlement agreements, as well as prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. Her experience extends to representing both international and domestic clients dealing with cases involving cross-border legal complexities.

Prior to her legal career, Ms. Hedge earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and mass communications with honors from St. Bonaventure University in 2007. She subsequently pursued her Juris Doctor degree at Villanova University School of Law, graduating in 2014. During her time in law school, she gained valuable experience through a summer position at Proskauer Rose LLP, where she focused on securities law. Additionally, she actively participated in the Villanova University School of Law Legal Aid Clinic, received the Dorothy Day Award for her pro-bono work, and was a published member of the Environmental Law Journal, eventually serving as the Symposium Editor.

As a skilled communicator, Ms. Hedge has shared her knowledge as a guest lecturer at St. John’s University School of Law, addressing emerging family law issues. Her legal insights have also been featured in publications like the New York Law Journal. Furthermore, she has been involved in committee work and served as a faculty member for a 2021 New York State Bar Association Continuing Legal Education (CLE) program focused on domestic violence, trauma-informed interviewing, and coercive control.

Actively engaged in the legal community, Ms. Hedge is a member of various associations, including the New York State Bar Association, where she participates on the Committee on Families and the Law, as well as the New York City Bar Association, the Tompkins County Bar Association, the New York County Lawyers Association, and the New York Women’s Bar Association, specifically in the Reproductive Rights Committee.
