Laurel N. Haag serves as an employment litigation attorney at Buchsbaum & Haag, LLP, where she advocates for clients based in Miami. She specializes in various aspects of employment law, including cases related to sexual harassment, wage and hour regulations, whistleblower protections, employment discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination. Her primary commitment lies in safeguarding the rights of ordinary employees.

With a professional background spanning nearly twenty years, Ms. Haag is licensed to practice law in the state of California. She also holds admissions to practice before esteemed legal entities such as the United States Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit, the United States District Court for the Southern District of California, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California, and the United States District Court for the Central District of California.

In 1997, Ms. Haag achieved summa cum laude honors upon completing her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. Subsequently, she earned her Juris Doctor degree from the same institution in 2000. During her time as a law student, she even took on the role of instructing undergraduates in a course centered on sexual harassment. Recognized for her accomplishments, she has held the title of a Top Women’s Lawyer of Southern California since 2015.

Before exclusively advocating for employees, Ms. Haag gained valuable experience on the management side of a prominent firm. Through her efforts, she has secured multimillion-dollar settlements and trial verdicts on behalf of clients who have faced injustices from their employers. At present, she maintains memberships in professional organizations such as the Employment Law Section of the California Employment Lawyers Association and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
