Loryn P. Riggiola, a partner at Zetlin & De Chiara LLP, is dedicated to representing clients in New York City and its neighboring regions. Her legal practice specializes in construction law matters, encompassing bidding disputes, commercial conflicts, contract disagreements, both public and private sector projects, and claims related to defects and delays.
Ms. Riggiola’s academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science degree from Ramapo College of New Jersey. She later pursued her legal education and successfully obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Seton Hall University School of Law. She is now licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia, New Jersey, and New York. Additionally, she is admitted to practice before several federal courts, including the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Columbia, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
Ms. Riggiola’s exceptional contributions to her field have not gone unnoticed. In 2020, she was recognized as one of the Best Women in Business by NJBIZ and was honored as one of the Outstanding Women in the Building Industry by the Women Builders Council. She has also earned a well-deserved place on the Best Lawyers in America list. Beyond her legal accomplishments, Ms. Riggiola actively participates in the local legal community. She has previously served as the president of the Design-Build Institute of America’s NY-Tri State Metro Area chapter and currently holds the position of General Counsel for the Women Builders Council. Additionally, she is a proud member of the District of Columbia Bar, the New York State Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
