M. Allan Hyman, Esq., serves as a senior partner at Certilman Balin Adler & Hyman, LLP, located in East Meadow, New York. Mr. Hyman specializes in legal matters related to eminent domain, land use, zoning, and various types of general litigation in East Meadow and the wider New York City area.

Before embarking on his legal career, Mr. Hyman earned his bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University. He later obtained his law degree from St. John’s University School of Law. He holds licenses to practice law in all New York state courts, as well as in federal courts, including the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern districts of New York, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Mr. Hyman has earned recognition in the legal field, achieving the prestigious AV Preeminent* rating from the esteemed attorney peer review organization, Martindale-Hubbell.

Active in various professional organizations, Mr. Hyman contributes to the legal community by teaching courses in eminent domain law, legal methods, and Real Estate Transactions as an adjunct professor at Hofstra University Maurice A. Deane School of Law. He is also an accomplished author, having penned articles on a wide range of legal topics and delivered presentations at notable venues, including the Nassau County Bar Association Academy of Law, the Institute for Professionals in Taxation, and the National Institute for Trial Advocacy.

Mr. Hyman’s involvement extends to his local legal and professional communities, where he has served on the boards of organizations such as the Education & Assistance Corporation and Northwell Health. Additionally, he plays a vital role as a member of Governor Cuomo’s Judicial Screening Committee for the Second Department and is an active member of the Nassau County Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association.
