Mark, a senior corporate lawyer and certified public accountant (CPA), boasts extensive expertise in structuring and executing complex business transactions. His reputation as a trusted advisor, counselor, and mentor stems from his remarkable substantive skills and business acumen, making clients turn to him for guidance on pivotal decisions and critical business ventures.

Mark’s professional portfolio encompasses a wide array of activities, including bank and non-bank secured and unsecured lending, which encompasses revolver and term loan facilities, bridge loans, asset-based facilities, subordinated debt, mezzanine financings, and corporate restructurings. He also routinely represents issuers and investors in private placements of equity and debt securities, private investments in public equity (PIPEs), and venture capital financing. Notably, over the past decade, a significant portion of his practice has been dedicated to mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and transactions driven by intellectual property.

Before establishing Flatiron Law in 2010, Mark served as a partner in the banking group and co-chaired the global project finance practice at Jones Day. His career commenced as an auditor CPA at PricewaterhouseCoopers, followed by his legal journey at Sullivan & Cromwell in New York.

Mark is also recognized as a thought leader advocating for the modernization of the law firm business model, a core mission of Flatiron Law Group.

Mark earned his J.D. with honors from Duke Law School and a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance with high honors from the University of Arizona. He holds admission to the New York Bar and maintains an active CPA license in New York.
