Mary T. Colwell, based in Albany, New York, is an attorney associated with Colwell Law. In 1998, Ms. Colwell graduated with magna cum laude honors from Drew University in Madison, New Jersey, earning a bachelor’s degree in English. She pursued her legal education at Albany Law School, where she also served as a member of the moot court board.
After completing law school, Ms. Colwell gained valuable experience working in the Appellate Division of the Office of the Monmouth County Prosecutor before practicing at a private law firm in New Jersey. She eventually returned to her hometown of Albany and worked as an associate attorney at another private firm for several years before joining Colwell Law in 2008.
Beyond her legal practice, Ms. Colwell maintains an active presence in the legal community, actively participating in professional organizations. She has been a longstanding member of the Capital District Women’s Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association.
